Evany Rosen started out performing sketch and improv with the Second City-born troupe Statutory Jape. Moving to Halifax, she became a founding member of the Canadian Comedy Award-winning sketch troupe Picnicface, with whom she created the hit Comedy Network show Picnicface under the tutelage of Kids in the Hall alum Mark McKinney. An accomplished comedian and actor, her screen credits include HBO Canada’s Call Me Fitz, CTV’s Saving Hope, two seasons of the award-winning Web Series Space Janitors, CBC’s Workin’ Moms and Baroness Von Sketch Show, as well as a thriving writing career that includes This Hour Has 22 Minutes and CityTV’s Meet the Family. She has performed stand-up at festivals across the country, including Just For Laughs, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, the Vancouver Comedy Fest and continues to evolve as a keen comedic mind as well as a seasoned, dynamic performer who is consistently generating smart humor and mature, perfectly legal jape.
